What to Pack for your next surf holiday

Surf Holiday Essential Pack LIst

Our 2019 summer surf camp season is almost upon us. Get ready for an unforgettable summer with these handy tips of What to Pack on Your Surf Camp Holidays.

You are going on a surf trip this summer. EXCITING! Now spare yourself the stress of figuring out what to pack by simply following our Pack List below. This handy blog will make sure you have the very best surf trip. PINKY PROMISE!

1 | Flip Flops. Easy to pack and super light. Though shoes are not usually at the top of any surfers priority list, they are essential for walking across the hot summer sand on the beach and will save your feet a lot of pain in the long run.

2 | Waterproof sun cream. No one wants to spend their surf holiday resembling a lobster, so make sure to bring waterproof sun cream. One of the easiest places to get sun burnt is in the water and when you are enjoying your surf lesson you will not notice how quickly the sun will affect you so always make sure you have put plenty on.

3 | Reusable water bottle. Staying hydrated is a major part of making sure you are always getting the most out of your surfing holidays. Though 2 hours in the water may not seem like the longest time, surfing is tiring and mix that with the beautiful summer heat you can quickly become dehydrated. Our surf camps have plenty of drinking stations available to refill your bottle throughout the day.

4 | Jumper. Though the days are long and warm in our summer surf camps, the evenings can be a bit colder, especially in May and September so make sure you bring an extra layer to keep you toasty in the evenings.

5 | Fancy Dress Outfit. It’s become a bit of a tradition in our surf camp in Molites to end each surf holiday week with a BIG BANG! This year’s surf camp season won’t be an exception with some epic Friday night send-offs for you, our surf holiday guests. Themes can be found here!

6 | Cutlery & co. Please remember to bring cutlery, a plate and coffee mug to the surf camp. We also recommend you pack a little lunch box to take your picnic to the beach in for your surf lessons. Please help us reduce littler and protect the environment. Thank you!

7 | Sleeping Bags. To be warm and comfy after a long day on the beach, don’t forget to bring your sleeping bag and pillow. If you should forget, don’t worry. We’ve got some available to rent at our surf camps.

8 | Phone Charger & Travel Adapter. France and Spain use the European two-pin plug. If you are arriving from the UK or outside of the EU, you will probably need a travel adapter to plug in your electronics.

9 | Towels. It does happy quite frequently that surf holiday guests turn up without towels. We recommend you bring two, one for the beach and one for showering.

10 | Your biggest Smile!
