Our summer surf camps in Moliets offer a day trip to the wonderful city of San Sebastian in Spain. If you’re lucky enough to come along of the trip or visit this beautiful Basque city on your travels, here are our top 5 tips of what you must see and do!

Part of the Basque country and probably one of the most diverse cities in Southern Europe, San Sebastian is great for a few days to explore, relax, eat and drink. Due to its coastal location and mountainous surroundings, San Seb offers very unique scenery, with plenty to see and do.

You get the best views from Monte Igueldo


Situated west of the town, Monte Iqueldo offers gorgeous panoramic views over San Sebs coastlines and mountains. Visitors can climb the tower to spectacular views and there is even an old fashioned amusement park.

Stroll along Playa de la Concha


If you are wanting an afternoon to relax and enjoy the Spanish sun, why not take a trip to Playa de la Concha, one of the best beaches in Europe this is a great place for sunbathing, swimming and relaxing before an evening of tapas and Sangria.

Don’t miss out on exploring the Old Town


The old town consists of a maze of quaint and beautiful cobbled streets packed with tapas bars, cafes, restaurants and places to pick up souvenirs. There are also walking tours available through San Sebastian and the Old town if you are looking to learn a little more about its history and culture.

Tapas and Sangria with new and old friends


It is no secret that San Sebastian is famous for its plentiful and delicious tapas restaurants, you could easily spend a day nibbling your way around this town and why not! What’s even better is you can wash it all down with copious glasses of Sangria. Dotted all over the town tapas and sangria is easy to find and will be the perfect end to a day in this wonderful place.
