Arguably the best time to come to one of our surf camps, we have put together a few reasons why May and June are our favourite months in our Moliets and Santander summer surf camps.

1. Quieter line-ups.

When learning to surf it can sometimes be daunting hitting the beach and seeing crowds of people in the lineup, why not avoid this? Join us in May or June and we can guarantee fewer people in the water and usually smaller lesson sizes.  

2. Warm weather.

May and June are always sunny dry months in our surf camps. With the temperature during the day reaching 28 degrees Celsius, this is the perfect time to start your summer tan.

3. Cheaper flights.

Beat the summer high season and bag yourself a cheap flight. Unlike in July and August, May and June’s flights tend to be around the £80/100€ RETURN mark meaning more money for beer!

4. No queue for showers.

Probably not the most important reason, but still definitely worth mentioning nonetheless. Enjoy a peaceful, long, warm shower in the surf camp after a day at the beach without having to queue. Bliss!

5. Intimate atmosphere.

With July and August being the busiest times for us, May and June are great times to visit if you want a more relaxed and chilled atmosphere. Still, with enough people to enjoy the famous Star Surf Camp parties, May and June are great for groups wanting their own space or travellers wanting a bit of everything.
