It seems like only yesterday that 60 excited Star Surf staff arrived in France and Spain to pitch hundreds of tents, put up hammocks and slack lines and build skate ramps, outdoor cinemas and party tents for what turned out to become our best surf season yet!

The summer of 2015 has treated us spectacularly! In Carcans, France, we experienced wet adventures in our very own version of ‘Total Wipeout’, beautiful city breaks in some of France’s most gorgeous towns, tasted delicious local wines and cheeses and relaxed during revitalising Yoga sessions on Carcans stunning beach! We went on fantastic SUP adventures along the Bay of Biscay in Santander, Spain, explored the many tails of Oyambre Natural Park and discovered GaudÍ’s fascinating architecture and northern Spain’s culinary specialities in pretty Comillas. Moliets celebrated the summer of 2015 in style with the Fetês de Bayonne, Bastille Day, weekly Flunky ball tournaments, skate, music and movie sessions and more!

And on top of all of these adventures outside the water, we surfed epic waves each week! Thank you France and Spain for having us! Thank you all our surf holiday guests for sharing the magic of surfing with us. And thank you to all of our team who have been truly amazing! We’re super happy and feel exceptionally blessed to have spent this surf season with old and new friends from all over the world!

We can’t wait for 2016!

Thanks guys for traveling with us, for sharing the surfing lifestyle and for simply being legends! We will miss every single one of you, and hope to be surfing with you again soon!
