New Fuerteventura Surf House

The pandemic meant sacrifices for all of us. For us, it was closing our much loved Fuerteventura surf house and apartments. BUT! Two years on, we are lucky to have partnered with some of our former staff who have opened an amazing surf house to get you surfing again on our favourite island!

Mild temperatures, warm waters and great surfing conditions all year round for all surifng abilities make Fuerteventura the perfect winter escape or sunny summer getaway. And with the entrance to the famous North Track with 30+ surf spots along 20 km of surfable coastline in walking distance to our surf house, you can be sure we’ll find the best waves for you to improve your surfing while on surfing holidays with us!

Highlights of your Fuerteventura Surf holidays

Our surf house is located in the El Roque neighbourhood of El Cotillo. The surf house itself is a charming Canarian house with a rustic style and a large terrace overlooking the mountains. It has 5 double bedrooms, each with a separate entrance, private terrace and a en-suite bathroom. We also provide all our surf holiday guests with bed linen, bathroom towels and hair dryers.

The communal areas include a spacious living-dining room with TV and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen that leads onto a rustic patio with seating ideal for alfresco dining and sunset drinks. The surf house also has its own yoga room, private parking and a secure area for your surf equipment.

El Cotillo is Fuerteventura’s foodie hotspot. The little fishing village offers you plenty of different restaurants and bars to choose from. Our surf house team can help you pick the right restaurant for your budget and tastebuds. Breakfasts in the surf house are included in all our surf holiday packages, and we organise social dinners out with all surf house guests and staff which you are welcome to join.

From our surf house, we have easy access to the famous North Track, 20 km of surfable coast with more than 30 surf spots. Our surf holiday guests can join us here on a real surf trip in search of the day’s best waves, checking surf forecasts frequently and being part of a group of fun, relaxed and like-minded surfers.

All our surf lessons are 3 hours long with a maximum group size of 5 surfers per 1 instructor. The surf lessons include the use of all surf equipment and the transfers to the day’s surf spot. We will always make sure to find the day’s best surf spot for your surfing ability, and our surf team is always at hand to answer any surf-related questions you might have.

We offer advanced surf lessons which start with 90 minutes of video analysis of your surfing. We film you while surfing and record your waves with high-quality video equipment. Afterwards we analyse the footage, and we feedback to you on what we will be focussing our attention on for the surf lessons to come. This will help you work towards improving your surfing in the short and long term.

Great surf is not all Fuerteventura has to offer: An amazing landscape lies right in front of our surf house with volcanoes to climb and beautiful lagoons to swim and snorkel in. Lajares and La Oliva are only a short car drive or bus ride away from El Cotillo and 20 km east of El Cotillo is Corralejo, today’s largest holiday resort on Fuerteventura.

Off the coast of Corralejo you can step back in time and into an uninhabited world, on the island of los Lobos, a nature reserve. We suggest you hop on a boat in Corralejo, enjoy the stunning views back on Fuerteventura for the short ten-minute boat journey to then lay back and relax on Lobos. The beaches there are ideal for snorkelling in shallow water and, yep, there’s great surf there, too!

We have chosen the El Cotillo area as a base for our surf house because it offers easy access to the famous North Track with 30+ surf spots and 270 degrees of surfable coastline, beautiful lagoons, some of the island’s best restaurants and spectacular rural views.
