Beautiful weather in Carcans
We had a perfect run of summer weather here in our Carcans surf camp. The days were filled with surf lessons, whilst in the evening many of the group decided to enjoy sunset on the beach or a cycle ride through the forest to Lacanau for a party. The surf camp here has been a huge success, much more intimate then the, moliets camp with real friendships forged. Our amazing surf instructor (Al Le Grange) recently celebrated his birthday in Carcans with such happy customers they all bought him a new surfboard! Happy birthday Al from all of us at Star Surf Camps. ASI Bodyboard instructor training in UK and Feurteventura
Star Surf Camps are proud to announce we have partnered with the ASI (Academy of surfing instructors) to offer surf instructor, bodyboard instructor and beach lifeguard qualifications at some of our surf camps around the world.
Great fun in San Sebastian
The whole camp filled our 50 seater bus for a day trip from Moliets to the infamous San Sebastian. Throughout the day we ate amazing tapas (Pinxos), drunk a few glasses of sangria, visited the cities sights and then watched the sunset from a cliff overlooking the city before heading to the local bars. Amazing week in Carcans
The surf camp in Carcans has had a flying start, we only opened our new camp there 2 weeks ago and have been full since.
Great start to the season
What an amazing start to our season, fully booked at the surf camp for the whole of june, perfect summer weather and great surf too! We have had an amazing selection of people visit us in the surf camp in France, surfers from all over the world, groups from the British Army, Barcelona youth clubs, Surf clubs from across Europe and of course the usual motley crew of travelling surfers coming back to their French surf haven in the pine forests of Moliets and Carcans. A big thank you to the people of Moliets and Carcans who not only have welcomed us back for another season but also made our stay here so much fun. We now have 2 days of small waves so we can relax and re energize before another good spell of surf which is just around the corner. Once again Exeter University surf club it was truly a pleasure, a great group who join us annually for their summer surfing holiday here at star surf camps in France. A crazy group, fun, full of energy and so stoked on surfing their enthusiasm is contagious, see you all again soon and hopefully see you all in Fuerteventura this Easter!
