My name is Sweet Mangoes and over the course of this blog, I will guide you surfing legends towards having an amazing time in our legendary Moliets surf camp. Each week, our Moliets surf camp team will give you new tips and advice to make the most of your surfing holiday week in the beautiful south of France. This week, I’ll introduce you to a typical surf camp week in the surfing paradise that is Moliets.

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL

Arriving in our Moliets surf camp, you’re welcomed by our surf camp team with a big smile and your Star Surf goody bag. Then it’s time to check out your surf camp home that is a super stylish bell tent with a super comfy memory foam mattresses for sweet surf holiday dreams!

The rest of the day is then yours to explore the surf camp, the beach or just to relax before surfing lessons start tomorrow. In the evening, you’ll get to meet our Moliets surf camp team and your fellow surf holiday guests over dinner and welcome.

DAY 2 – FIRST SURF LESSONS

On your first actual surf camp day, you’ll wake up to a yummy French breakfast, the perfect start to a sunny day on the beach and your first surf lessons. This is a really exciting day especially for those surf holiday makers who have never surfed before. Surfing is a challenging sport, so hats up to all you naturals who get to stand up on a surfboard on their first day! But don’t be disheartened if standing up and catching a wave will take you a few surf lessons – our surf team is in the water with you, actively helping you get on the board and cheering you on. The most important thing is that you’re having fun and our professional surf instructors will be on hand to make that happen!

You can spend your afternoon on the beach, chilling in one of many hammocks or taking our surf camp bikes into Moliets before the entire surf camp comes together for dinner. The evening is filled with a game of Flunkyball which we’re sure you’ll love! Never heard of Flunkyball? Well, then you’re in for a real surf camp treat! All I’m saying is that it’ll get competitive in fancy dress!!

DAY 3 & BEYOND

Your Moliets surf holiday week continues with more surf lesson fun, lots of time on the beach, chilling in the surf camp, exploring Moliets and meeting new people. One highlight of our Moliets surf camp week is our trip to the beautiful city of San Sébastian. Together with our entire surf camp crew, we head down South and into Spain for an afternoon of sightseeing, shopping and some of Spain’s best tapas. We spend the evening with sunset drinks and a priceless view on Mount Urgull overlooking the bay. Then it’s party on!

MORE SURF CAMP RADNESS

You’ll spend your following surfing holiday days surfing, beaching, skating, partying or relaxing in and around the surf camp with an authentic French wine & cheese night and watching a movie in our outdoor cinema arena. All, of course, in the company of like-minded surfers and an amazing Star Surf Camps Team!

We celebrate the end of each surf camp week in Moliets with a big party. And when I say big, I. MEAN. BIG! After one week of living and surfing together, Saturday mornings are always the hardest, both for our surf holiday guests and our surf team, as they mean saying goodbye to new friends and a whole new surfing family. But, luckily, surf holiday memories last a lifetime and surf camp friendships forever!
