Cheese and Wine

So this week’s cheese and wine went down very well indeed. The combination of strong French cheeses and Bordeaux red makes for a brilliant and relaxed evening, which this week bizarrely turned into a Spanish Fiesta. Lots of laughs, guitars, songs and OLE’s! Totally bizarre cheese dreams followed with a hazy head the following morning is a small price to pay for such an awesome night.

Flunkyball Champions

Flunkyball is a game of mystery to those who don’t know it already. All through the week there is an excited murmur about Flunkyball being played at the end of the week and although most people don’t know what it is before actually playing, everybody looks forward to finding out! It is our final celebration to end the week with and is enjoyed by everyone and anyone, whether playing or spectating. The final this week involved the camp manager, Timmo, but much to his dismay their team was beaten by the underdogs after a horrendous amount of ‘penalty beers’.

Volleyball Contests

In the Carcans camp there is a volleyball court right in the middle of the Star Surf plot. So this means that volleyball is played on a regular basis by nearly everyone each day, leading to a very high standard indeed. With that being said everybody gets involved regardless of their ability and everyone has a great time playing!
