What have people been doing so far?

It’s been an exciting few months for the fundraisers, all doing anything they can to raise extra cash & be in with a chance of winning the fantastic prize!

There are also lots of people planning to undertake some big fundraising challenges over summer, so watch this space!

Jonny Snow recently skateboarded from Essex to Newquay on a 12 day mission for “perfect waves” and raised an amazing £1,370.00.

Louise Allen and her husband have cycled from St Malo to Nice and raised nearly £800!

Andy Bramwell is going to be cycling 75 miles and surfing at as many beaches on the way, and he’s doing very well with his donations, with nearly £600 so far. He is due to undertake this at the beginning of July. One of the SAS reps Cal, is undertaking a Paddle Against Plastic in August, in which she will be paddling lots of miles! (I think its roughly 300 miles) around the Cornish coast, for three weeks! As it’s only just launched, her fundraising has only just started! The same goes for Libby Sidebotham who is swimming the River Dart 10km, at the beginning of September, and she’s doing very well with her fundraising so far!

Lots of university groups undertook fundraising over the Christmas period doing a variety of wild and wonderful activities and are all in with a chance of winning the group prize, but there is still time to get involved! We’d love to hear from you and join Star Surf Camps and Surfers Against Sewage for this amazing charity project that also has a great set of prizes up for grabs. So GET INVOLVED!

Once again, a big THANK YOU goes out to everyone joining in our fundraising project and helping Surfers Against Sewage in their never-ending quest to save our waves, oceans and environment!

Thank you! Get involved, get fundraising!
