A BIG THANK YOU from all of us here at Star Surf Camps for all you busy bees out there who have been raising funds for Surfers Against Sewage so far! We’re overwhelmed by all of your support! And for all of those who have not yet had a chance to get involved, a look at our incredible prizes might cheer you on! 1st Prize (Individuals): Most successful fundraiser wins surf holidays for life! 1st Prize (Team): Most successful team (up to 15 people) wins a group surfing holiday! Still in the lead is a team of FXU students who ‘JailBreak’-ed from Falmouth Tremough campus all the way to Scotland! A-MA-ZING! For those of you who have never heard of a JailBreak before, it’s a challenge in which teams aim to get as far away from their starting point as possible within 30 hours with absolutely no money! They are relying entirely on the kindness of strangers. Once started, teams can hitchhike or try to convince car rental or other travel companies to give them free tickets which will get them as far away as possible as fast as possible! Our FXU students all carried tracking devices, so we could even follow their progress online – fantastic to watch! We’re very happy to announce that Emily Price, one of our lovely surf instructors here at Star Surf Camps, has committed to participating in a marathon to help raise funds for our competition. Thank you, Emily! Also, our good friends from Magicseaweed have promised to form a team! Bring it on, we can’t wait for your challenge! But wait, you think you and your Uni group, friends, social club, work colleagues or family can do better? Well, show us and the rest of the world, and come up with your crazy-fun-hilarious idea to raise awareness and funds! What’s Been Happening so Far
• If you want to form a team, recruit your teammates!
• Set up a ‘Just Giving’- or ‘Virgin Money Giving’-page and tell your story!

• Get fundraising!
15 years, 1 holiday per year for 1 week, 1 person. Food, accommodation and surf lessons (if requested). Subsequent years accommodation only. Available at any of Star Surf Camp’s own camps (not partner camps); these are currently: North Spain (Oyambre), Canary Islands (Fuerteventura), France (Moliets and Carcans). All participants 18+. Prize is non-transferable to other people. Not transferrable for cash. Not in conjunction with any other offer.
To be taken as a group trip to any of Star Surf Camp’s own camps listed above (not partner camps). Food, accommodation and surf lessons. 1 week, up to 15 people (the number of those in the team, i.e. 12 places registered, 12 places granted). Holiday must be taken outside of UK school holiday times. All participants 18+ unless with a parent/guardian. Prize is non-transferable to other people. Not transferrable for cash. Not in conjunction with any other offer.
