What is The GenerationSea Blueprint Survey?
Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic presents the most immediate crisis we face as a global population, the ocean and climate crisis remains the biggest threat to humanity and the environment in the long term. As the leaders in Ocean Activism, it’s imperative that we come out of this crisis ready and prepared to accelerate single-use plastic bans, challenge water companies, drive forward marine protection and demand climate action.
That is why we want to hear your thoughts. We want to know what actions you want to take post-COVID-19, in order to save the Ocean. We need to shout loudly for the Ocean in the recovery from the pandemic and a few minutes of your time will impact years of SAS ocean activism.
“Together we believe in a thriving ocean and thriving people”
We’re all longing to get back to the beach, dive into the sea, ride some waves and, in case of all SAS volunteers, return to the frontline of the campaign to protect the ocean. The current crisis has been a powerful reminder to many of us of the things that we value most and what we want to see for the new world, where #generationsea can rise again.
Surfers Against Sewage SAS want to know what you think. How do you feel about the beach now? How much do you miss the ocean? Have you witnessed the recovery of ocean wildlife during the lockdown? What ocean conservation issues are you now most interested in? What campaign actions do you want to take? How do you want to make a difference for the ocean? That’s why Surfers Against Sewage SAS have launched a new survey,
“the GenerationSea Blueprint – a new wave of ocean activism”,
to find out how their supporters and the Great British public feel about the ocean and how they can help protect and restore it.
Can you spare a few minutes for the ocean?
Your voice is vital in helping Surfers Against Sewage SAS reshape and strengthen their campaigns, events and activities. Your voice will send a strong message to government and industry leaders to demand better protection for the ocean.
Some of Surfers Against Sewage’s hard-won progress on water quality, plastic pollution and climate change is currently under threat. It’s vital to come out of this crisis ready and prepared to accelerate action to protect Planet Ocean. Please help Surfers Against Sewage SAS shape the future of their campaigns today.
